Committees

There are many different committees that are working together to make sure the Caribou Children's Discovery Museum becomes a reality.  We will always welcome anyone who would like to be involved with one of our committees. 

The following is a list of our current committees:

FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE-

Do you have that special personality where talking comes natural to you?  OR  Do you feel so strongly about the idea of this children's museum that you will do your part to make it happen?  OR  Do you want the children in your life to be given the opportunity to experience a place right here in Caribou that will allow them to have fun learning all about the world around them? 

     IF SO....you need to be part of the Fundraising Committee!

We are fast approaching the time that our fundraising capital campaign will begin.  We need to raise a lot of money to make this museum a reality.  Please contact Nancy Chandler today and sign up to help.

FACILITY COMMITTEE-

We are excited to own1.68 acres of land on Glenn Street across from Teague Park Elementary School to build a brand new energy efficient "State of the Art" Children's Discovery Museum

EXHIBIT COMMITTEE-

The exhibit committee has been busy preparing displays for our various activities and fundraisers we have had this past year.  Soon enough, the exhibit committee will be responsible for deciding the exhibits that will go into the museum.  They will be in charge of building and putting together the displays.  If you are creative, artistic, handy with a hammer or paintbrush, or simply want to be part of an unforgettable and rewarding project, please contact Nancy Chandler to sign up for the Exhibit Committee.
